Le serpent du Kanal (unbuilt)
Le Serpent du Kanal was our competition proposal with Fait Maison and Construire - atelier d'architecture for the interior design of Kanal’s future bar and brasserie. Le serpent is a long bar in the shape of a snake that boldly occupies and opens up the entire length of the available space, putting the kitchen and staff activities in full view.
Reclaimed terrazzo tiles for the surface of the bar, and reclaimed parquet flooring in Hungarian point stand central in the proposal, creating a rich and tantalizing interior, complementing the sensual shape of the bar.
The proposal was awarded third place.
