New Rotor book on the salvage architecture of Marcel Raymaekers

Hot of the press: Ad Hoc Baroque

We are enormously proud to finally present ‘Ad Hoc Baroque,’ the result of two years of research into Marcel Raymaekers' postwar salvage architecture. The book brings together 35 projects, an extensive biography and five chapters that delve into the various aspects of Raymaekers' practice and draw lessons for architecture and construction today. This richly illustrated book, with beautiful photographs by Anthony De Meyere and Anja Hellebaut, will be on sale from Dec. 12 and can be bought as a pre-order through RotorDC. 'Ad Hoc Baroque' / 'Ad Hoc Barok' will be available in both English and Dutch.

The 12th of December the Flanders Architecture Institute will organise a book launch in De Singel in Antwerp. Tickets for the event can be booked in the website of VAi
