L'équipe
Founded in the late 1960s, L’équipe is an organization involved in the care of mentally-ill patients which has since expanded to occupy more than 18 different buildings across Brussels. Their built patrimony comprises of buildings of different sizes, periods and typologies, raising questions about maintenance and monitoring.
In this context, Rotor was asked to establish a detailed architectural inventory of the different spaces of the organisation. This inventory is based not only on technical, but also qualitative analysis, and is very attentive to the way spaces are used by patients and staff. It highlights the existing qualities of their buildings and gives practical recommendations on how to re-organise and manage the built spaces.
